Die filmklub initiatief is geloods op 26 Maart 2026 deur Dorette Potgieter (bekende aktrise en vervaardiger) om hoërskool leerders in die Paarl bymekaar te bring en meer van die filmbedryf te leer in samewerking met MINIMAX. Ongelukkig kom die filmklublede nie meer by die bioskoop bymekaar nie en bly gesluit tot verdere kennisgewing.

The film club initiative was launched on 26 March 2026 by Dorette Potgieter (acclaimed actress and producer) to bring together high school students from Paarl and learn more about the film industry in collaboration with MINIMAX. Unfortunately the film club will no longer get together at the cinema in Paarl and will be closed until further notice.
