Party kunstenaars bou ’n handelsmerk.

Victor Wolf bou skaduwees.

A mess of everything - Victor S. Wolf

A mess of everything I've been living in a mental war zone yet to comprehend the eternal unknown Not here, not there not lost, not found  storming in a floating sea of possibility Everywhere but right here, out there sunlit shadows of a flaring moonbeam Try to understand contradicting meaning gaslit, asswhipped I don't even know me I've seen this pretty place and I know it really touched me Wanted to embrace and then it really shocked me I've been had, you've been told, how do we distinguish from normality Insanity, profanity We keep living at Godspeed indeed One day you're made and the next you're long gone You get to take your picture and then just move on on and on forever till we no more Memories of species that have been extinguished Monuments of people that no one visits No thoughts, no feelings How can we be missed if there's no one missing I've seen this pretty place and I know it really touched me Wanted to embrace and then it really shocked me I've been had, you've been told, you can never know me Even though I know that we conjure the meaning In this age I make believe in cunning Truth is still a thing, maybe just not your thing Insanity is slaughtered when belief takes over I believe, I don't believe the things that tell you to believe We made a mess of everything With the solid lines you bring Dividing everything And I've got no sympathy for you While I'm lying at your feet And claiming your defeat We made a mess of everything With the solid lines you bring Dividing everything And I've got no sympathy for you While I'm lying at your feet And claiming your defeat We made a mess of everything We made a mess of everything We made a mess of everything We made a mess of everything

A word
a word can go a pretty long way it can save the day it can mend a way it can fill a heart and keep the blues away a voice can be a powerful thing with the sound it makes it illuminates that we’re not alone when you hear its sound when the word and the voice meets meaning does appear and out of the magic a story becomes clear  do you know where the stories come from they are born within the hearts and minds of folk who lived and seen some things and how does a story find its wings from where it’s thought to where you are language is the key that unlocks everything unlock the magic  and the meaning will appear and out of the magic a story becomes clear  the world today is a very hard place there are wars and fighting everywhere but in these times of fright and fear all the more the need to disappear into the story into the magic into the mystery into the language where a new world will appear  and out of the magic a story becomes clear    unlock the magic  and the meaning will appear and out of the magic a story becomes clear   life can change in a meaningful way when a word is said a thought is read a move is made or a game is played where were you when the lights came up where you in your head far away still at play in the author’s pen do you know where the stories go  when it’s said and done and we had our fun everyone a life of its own a day in the sun or a trip to the moon The stories live ons long after we’ve gone stronger than iron tougher than lions over than mountains they flourish like fountains the bring us together makes sense of forever they’re making us clever the spread like a fire they’re make us one they tie us together in this story we are one
America First

America first, America first, America first, you want America first America first, America first, America first, you want America first, you fix America first You come here to talk with your cannons, you and your minions, your noisy opinions You killed all the people who lived here, brought in the labor, freed them enslaved them Now you control all the money, isn't it funny, it's all beyond me Isn't it strange how you bring about peace that results into chaos, military payoffs We don't fear you, a nation of terror You think you're superior, but you're just America We don't fear you, a nation of violence We're not inferior, you're just America You think you're God's gift to the planet, you're out to destroy it, if you cannot employ it Whatever happened to freedom, liberty, reason and traded in treason You destroy in the name of peace your supremist religion, we cannot believe it We're no longer fooled by the shiny reporting, ever distorting, you're better than all things Oh say, can't you see, there's no one but you and your party No more intelligence, we question your relevance We don't fear you, a nation of violence Take pride in your infamy, no longer decency We don't fear you, a nation of terror You think you're superior, but you're just America We don't fear you, a nation of violence We're not inferior, you're just America America First, America First, America First You want America First, America First, America First You want America First, you fix America First America First, America First You want peace on this earth, you fix America First America First, America First You want peace on this earth, you fix America First

an If/Then song
If you could know me If we too could be known Then something, someday Something we might do I have seen the things that you might have left Whoever you may be Yes, if you could know me Then we two would be known If you could feel me If we too could be felt Then maybe one day We could touch ourselves I have lived through things that move me more Whatever they may be Yes, if you could feel me Then we two would be felt If you could be me If you could speak my words Then sometimes, some days We could be alone I have done the things that I could have left If I was someone else Yes, if you could be me Then you would speak my words If you could miss me If we too could be missed Then maybe one day We would never meet I have heard the songs that you might have wrote Whoever you may be Yes, if you could miss me Then we two would be missed
Being my friend - Victor S. Wolf
If by now you do not know what's your weight worth set in gold If by now you can not see all your goals and what you're to be   Chorus: Being my friend I say you come and it's making me feel this way   Like so many times before I hear you start but nothing more if you dare it safe to say where there's will there is a way   Chorus   I don't wanna change my ways don't wanna rearrange  all I want is the truth be told strip it down right to the bone   Chorus   For the sake of sanity may I propose you stay with me Are you keeping with my like? Is this the way you wanna be?   Chorus
Between the lines

from the album: live@home When you get up, will you save me something I don't think I'll make it on my own When you get up, will you leave the passage open I don't think I'll make it before dawn Before today, I used to say that I'd be there I'd never disappoint in any way Send for the clowns, may no one know what's here at stake May no one ever read between the lines No one ever read between the lines If you get in, will you ask if I am welcome Ask if there is something to be done You get in, will you save me something I don't think I'll make it very soon Before today, I used to say that I'd be there I'd never disappoint in any way Send for the clowns, may no one know what's here at stake May no one ever read between the lines No one ever read between the lines That is not like me at all, oh no That is not what I would usually do Don't judge me while I am small, oh no Don't judge me as you usually do I usually know myself I usually take the fall I usually know myself I'm usually tall If you were me, would you ask if you were someone Would you ask if there is something to be done If you get in, will you see if I am living I don't think I'll make it on my own Before today, I used to say that I'd be there I'd never disappoint in any way Send for the clowns, may no one know what's here at stake May no one ever read between the lines No one ever read between the lines That is not like me at all That is not what I would usually do Don't judge me while I am small Don't judge me as you usually do I usually know myself I usually take the fall I usually know myself I'm usually tall I usually know myself I usually take the fall I usually know myself I'm usually tall I usually know myself I usually take the fall I usually know myself I'm usually tall I usually know myself I usually take the fall I'm usually tall I usually know myself I'm usually tall

Disguise

Has anybody seen my Has anybody seen my Has anybody seen my disguise x2   I was standing in the middle of the street It’s raining. A glimmer of light filled the sky You were lying on a table when the flame had caught your eye Oh I feel I am there.    Has anybody seen my Has anybody seen my Has anybody seen my disguise I swear I left it lying on my breakfast table I swear I left it just there   Unite the shadows.  Though we’re in the dark the light’s within sometimes felt, sometimes seen Float like a feather. Lighter than the lightest star that shines Oh I feel I am there   If you want me, I can be just like any other If you want me, I can be like myself   Has anybody seen my Has anybody seen my Has anybody seen my disguise x2   I was standing in the son just a moment ago When I was hit by a thought and a pile of dough Enough money for a Jag and an up-class hoe So rich I should be hanging low with Han Solo But the name on the card belongs to loan shark Larry See I had to shoot him down when he took my caddy When he hit the ground, his money in my hand I wondered ain’t there anybody  that can spot where my disguise is at   Has anybody seen my Has anybody seen my Has anybody seen my disguise

Midnight in my Bones
# Midnight In My Bones *Victor S. Wolf* --- There’s a neon cross outside my window Buzzing like a dying prayer The city coughs smoke into heaven But nobody’s listening up there I got rust on my halo Blood in my throat A head full of static And a heart that won’t float And these nights keep dragging me under Like a river nobody owns Yeah the dark keeps calling my number Midnight in my bones Midnight in my bones Like cold beneath the skin A ghost sitting shotgun Everywhere I’ve been I laugh like a sinner But I shake like a saint Trying to outrun things A man knows he ain’t There’s a woman dancing in the alley To a song only addicts hear She said “everybody wants redemption Till the bill finally appears” And the preacher on the TV Looks tired and alone Selling little pieces of heaven Through a cracked microphone Meanwhile the moon hangs over the freeway Like God forgot to come home And the silence tastes like whiskey Midnight in my bones Midnight in my bones Like nails inside the rain Like a train without a station Running circles through my brain I wear my failures proudly Like medals no one won Just another lost believer Trying to face the sun Maybe we were born for breaking Maybe we were built to roam Maybe every human heartbeat Is just a temporary home So pour another last cigarette Into the fire and the smoke We all become old stories Or punchlines to a joke And somewhere dogs are barking At things we’ll never know While the world keeps turning slowly Through the ashes and the snow And I still hear that old highway singing Like a choir made of stones Yeah the darkness knows my true name Midnight in my bones Midnight in my bones That’s where the truth still lives Between the shattered promises And everything forgiveness is No angels coming for me No kingdom, no thrones Just this tired old heart beating Midnight in my bones. Victor Wolf – Midnight in my Bones “Midnight in my Bones” is a dark cinematic alternative-pop track blending haunting melodies, atmospheric production and emotionally raw storytelling. The song explores the feeling of carrying loneliness, desire and memory deep within your body — like something that refuses to leave after midnight. Built around moody textures, intimate vocals and a slow-burning emotional intensity, the track sits somewhere between alternative pop, indie noir and cinematic rock. Fans of late-night driving music, melancholic indie playlists and emotionally immersive production will connect strongly with its atmosphere. Victor Wolf combines theatrical emotion with modern alternative production to create a song that feels both deeply personal and visually cinematic. “Midnight in my Bones” was crafted to feel like the soundtrack to a memory you can’t escape.
Money

Fell into the money

I can buy a lot of honey

but I long for you

I long for you now

Climbed into the mainstream

forgotten how to daydream

but I long for you

I long for you now

Crossed a lot of bridges

been both sides of the knife's edge

but I long for you

I long for you now

Fell into the money

I can buy a lot of honey

but I long for you

I long for you now

Bridge:

You are the world to me

Within time became

to me you are the world

there's nothing bigger than

the world are you to me

Within time became

to me you are the world

there's nothing bigger

than the world

Fell into the money

I can buy a lot of honey

but I long for you

I long for you now

Rubbing lot's of shoulders

I know where all the glitz is

but I long for you

I long for you now

Shared a lot of secrets

I know how well the shoe fits

but I long for you

I long for you now

Fell into the money

I can buy a lot of honey

but I long for you

I long for you now

(Bridge)

How quick you're free

When suddenly you see

When you awake

When you leave your slumbering state

Then you know what you chose not to believe

You sing

You sigh

There's nothing bigger (x2)

than the world
